Used to be obsessed with this band, Anomaly/Drift really killed all the hype I had for this band at the time lol

coming from anomaly/drift, i didn't have too much hope for are we 3ven, but holy shit these guys redeemed themselves with this song. its much more reminiscent of treehouse than the previous two singles, and is actually a decent song, even if it does remind me of bad omens a little (who i hate btw)

Not true at all my dude. I would of been pretty flexible on how they came back tbh and I can go with what they're doing now regardless if any synths were involved. Even with electronics, I don't want it to sound like a decade ago. I could have seen it more along the lines of something way more modern. Not the Myspacey, trancecore, dubstepy stuff that was super trendy and is super way more outdated. Plus Treehouse sounded way different than New Demons and both sounded way different than their old stuff. Who knows what they would of sounded like now before the new stuff got released. It would of gone anywhere. Either way, I'm just glad they're back and making new stuff. I missed them a lot.

Also you really need to stop with these trolling/bullying attacks. Idk what your issue is with me lately but it has to stop. Ever since I mentioned that i'm gay you continue to be a dick to me. Stop beating around the bush and tell me to my face what your issue is with me. Tired of playing these childish argument games with you.

this is one of those bands that got better as they progressed, New Demons and Treehouse are their best albums in my opinion and that's no slight to their older albums. they just perfected their craft.

Anomaly is actually somewhat decent, if not a bit more generic than Treehouse. Drift is kinda bad tbh, that djenty or whatever it is sound the guitar makes does NOT fit I See Stars at all, and honestly the high pitched... screeching? whatever Devin's doing is kinda goofy sounding. I mean Devin HAS screamed before so he definitely can, but instead we got those screeches. Overall the weakest material from the band BY FAR.

i didn't care for em when they first dropped, but they have grown on me, plus seeing them live again and hearing them in concert made me appreciate them more. i do like 'are we even?' their latest song the best of the 3 but i heard its from the treehouse era which makes sense because i love that album. what are your thoughts?

I like how they went to that "New Demon" vibes and it sounds good and I'm glad they're back, but if they would of kept the electronic synth aspect as well and maybe thrown a bit more elements of the serious/catchy aspects of Treehouse, I really think that really would of taken them to the next level.

i agree, treehouse was top tier! this was the setlist i saw and they played 2 of the new songs back to back and no one really cared so it took the momentum out of the set for a lil bit. i mean this was their comeback tour and they played all 3 of em on an opening slot..i would've assumed theyd play just one and bang out all the old hits. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/i-see-stars/2023/eagles-ballroom-milwaukee-wi-ba3859e.html

Absolutely love these guys, every album they've put our is just perfect. 3D and The End Of The World Party are insanely catchy and fun electronicore while Digital Renegade and New Demons are both top tier metalcore albums that still hold up amazingly to this day. The remixes are also great, and that's coming from someone who doesn't usually listen to dubstep and the like. Treehouse is definitely less heavy than everything else, but it's still amazing. Here's to hoping we get new I See Stars in the future.

yeah devin has been releasing songs under the moniker 'shYbeast' he has only released singles sporadically since last year. This one is worth checking out, its devin with dj/producer Kayzo & Frank Zummo on drums from Sum 41 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Puy8oCoop9c
