The Silver Scream is the fifth studio album by Ice Nine Kills which was highly rated by well-known musical critics, sources and charts. This record is dedicated to a list of famous horror movies, starting with a story of Freddy Krueger of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” through the first single “The American Nightmare”, and finishing with the "IT"-dedicated song "IT Is The End" in collaboration with William Salazar, Buddy Schaub and JR Wasilewski.
Specifically, here is the list of movies each song represents:
The American Nightmare - "The Nightmare on Elm Street", 1984
Thank God It’s Friday - "Friday the 13th", 1980
Stabbing In The Dark - "Halloween", 1978
SAVAGES - "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", 1974
The Jig Is Up - "Saw", 2003
A Grave Mistake - "The Crow", 1994
Rocking The Boat - "Jaws", 1975
Enjoy Your Slay - "The Shining", 1980
Freak Flag -"The Devil's Rejects", 2005
The World In Your Hands - "Edward Scissorhands", 1990
Merry Axe-Mas - "Silent Night, Deadly Night", 1984
Love Bites - "An American Werewolf in London", 1981
IT Is The End - "IT", 1990
Some of the songs meet plenty of references to the previous albums of INK in their lyrics but the whole concept of the album is a logical continuation of their previous one, which was called "Every Trick In The Book" (2015), and its songs represented famous works of well-known writers.
