As much as I HATE to say it - because I really don't want to dislike any of her work as most of it really is great (and this isn't even particularly bad) - I'm SO glad working with Aaron Dessner was just a one time thing with Tramp. Listening to it I can understand why it was her breakout album as it's a bit more digestible and easy listening than her previous two but honestly the production that Dessner provides in this feels like any other "generic 2010s indie folk production", like REALLY the 2010s is flooded with mid indie albums that sound just like this. Not to say there aren't standouts there certainly are, Serpents obviously comes to mind but I think cohesively this is by far her weakest album and she's let down a little by the collaborations. The production never reaches the heights that she's shown her song-writing is able to in her other work.

And I was like: "I won't listen another your boring female folk album about damn feelings Sharon!" And she was like: "Uh, uh, uh I was a child, I wasn't worried, Tender and dark waiting for love I was late..." And I was like: "Okay, one more time while no one watching"

really can't seem to get into her other stuff - except some tracks on "Are we there" - but this album, omg, is just flawless
